Anderacha town is about 5 kilometres from the Anderacha mill, where farmers grow coffee in fertile clay soil.
The variety most commonly called “Bourbon” or “Keffa Bourbon” here is not the same as that type that is better-known from Central and South America: Coffees called “Bourbon” colloquially in Ethiopia are typical coffee-berry-disease-resistant cultivars.
Among coffee-producing countries, Ethiopia holds near-legendary status not only because it’s the “birthplace” of Arabica coffee, but also because it is simply unlike every other place in the coffee world.
THIS COFFEE WILL BE ROASTED ON 17/9/19
