Building upon the success of our Seasonal Instant Coffee, Jack set out to expand our range with a remarkable addition: a single-origin instant coffee.
We want to present to you our single-origin instant coffee made from 100% Ethiopian coffee beans sourced exclusively from the renowned Wolichu Sodu farm.
The Sodu washing station is located 2.5km from the town of Hara Adama, in Guji's Oromia district of Ethiopia.
Coffees in Ethiopia are typically traceable to the washing station level, where smallholder farmers—many of whom own less than 1/2 hectare of land and as little as 1/8 hectare on average—deliver cherry by weight to receive payment at a market rate. The coffee is sorted and processed into lots without retaining information about whose coffee harvest is in which bag or which lot.
Tasting notes include hints of zesty lemon, delicate lavender, and the luscious essence of nashi pear.
The beauty of this product is that it requires very little equipment for such a delicious outcome. Simply add 1 teaspoons to a cup, pour over 200ml of hot water, stir and enjoy. Sip on its own with hot water or add a dash of milk for a creamier brew.
