The regional heats are underway, and we've got a few of the Axil team stepping up to compete.
Barista Championships have begun their regional runs across Australia. Known as the Community Coffee Champs (CCC), the competition is set up to mimic a real cafe setting. The competitors play barista, while the judges are customers. Through this, four major skill sets in coffee service are tested, with the most exceptional competitors moving on to the Australian Coffee Championships (ACC).
Some of Axil’s team have stepped up to the bench, and we’re proud to see them represent the roastery in their respective competitions. We believe being present at coffee competition allow us to keep up with industry trends and set new standards. Best of luck, everyone!
The Brewers Cup and Cup Tasters run this weekend 31st July-2 August, while Barista and Latte Art competitions run 8-9 August. Both weekends will be hosted at C4 Coffee, 15 Graham Rd, Clayton South VIC 3169... See you there!
