We caught up with Yumin, the founder, to learn more about their story, the meaning behind the name, what they’re serving up, and more.
Axil Coffee: Congratulations, you just opened up! Tell us what's behind the name FAVE?
FAVE: I just want it to be the favourite for everyone - to be the favourite cafe for all the customers that come through.
Axil Coffee: We love that! We're sure you've done that so far. So how many years have you been working in coffee, Yumin? And you've also been competing?
FAVE: I started competing 10 years ago. I was really into Latte Art and so I started competing in the ASCA National Latte Art Championship.
Axil Coffee: Tell us about your coffee menu and what you're serving at FAVE?
FAVE: We're serving two different blends and then one rotating single origin. We have a batch brew, cold brew and some exciting signature drinks as well!
Axil Coffee: Why did you choose Axil Coffee Roasters?
FAVE: Axil is a world class roaster. You guys have won the Australian Barista Champion title four year in a row and so I am really happy to introduce Axil to the Brisbane coffee scene with your amazing coffee - we're so happy to have you.
