About The Coffee: Finca Siberia, named for its extreme weather and remote location, was founded in 1870 by Fabio Moran and Etifanio Silva. Today, it is managed by Rafael Silva Hoff, his wife Carmen Elena, and their children. They began cultivating coffee on these 28 hectares, situated on the highest summits of the Apaneca-LLamatepac Mountain Range in Ahuachapan. Over a century later, this farm continues to produce exceptional coffees and consistently earns recognition in the 'Cup of Excellence' Finals. The farm operates its own composting station, utilizing a massive amount of earthworms to create lombricompost, reducing its reliance on conventional fertilizers.
