Meet the 2024 Australian Barista Champion: Jack Simpson
He’s done it again!
Jack Simpson from Axil Coffee has been crowned the title 2024 Australian Barista Champion, presented by the Australian Specialty Coffee Association which was held at The Wool Mill in Brunswick.
Taking on the title for the second year in a row, the back-to-back champion wowed judges, coffee enthusiasts, friends and family alike in his mesmerising 3-part routine, featuring a signature drink, espresso and milk-based coffee.

The months of training have certainly paid off as Jack’s exceptional talent, dedication and commitment to excellence has taken his performance to a winning routine. We couldn’t be more proud of his efforts as he represents us here at Axil Coffee.
