About The Coffee:Sonia Díaz owns the farm Nuwa Senchi, which means “Strong Woman” in the Awajún language, a tribute to Amazonian women’s resilience and leadership. Sonia was born in Cajamarca and grew up in the Guamboya hamlet of Lonya Grande, Amazonas.
After completing her studies in Engineering Systems and Marketing in Chachapoyas, she began cultivating coffee with her brother at age 22, focusing on Geisha and Marshell varieties.
Today, Sonia manages 3 hectares in production and 1 hectare in growth, with plans to expand another 3 hectares of Geisha using both washed and natural processes. In 2024, she joined the Taza de Excelencia Perú logistics team, a recognition of her dedication to excellence.

We dispatch daily; Monday – Friday. All orders will leave the roastery and warehouse within 2 business days of the order being received. Please note that any orders after 12pm on Friday will be despatched on the following Monday.
